Spirit and Soul Connection

Spirit and Soul Connection

Apostle Tracey Robinson, 2021 All Rights Reserved

To live victoriously in this world your Soul will need to be convert and transformed into the being of a new creature; the Spirit of the Word of God; and the baptism of the Holy Spirit.

  • To live courageously you must be governed, led, guide, and instructed by the Spirit of the Holy Spirit.
  • To live a supernatural life in this earth is not natural.
  • Natural possessions that are temporal are not a sign of victorious living in earth.
  • Spiritual awareness is a must to becoming a new creature, set apart for the glory of God and His use in the earth realm.
  • In order to serve God, praise and worship God, reverence God you must be instructed and led by the Spirit of God.
  • The connection between the Spirit and Soul is spiritual.
  • The connection between the Body, Soul, and Spirit is carnal.
  • The physical or natural man only has a carnal need, not a spiritual need.
  • Your Soul and Spirit have a spiritual need.
  • The connection with the flesh applying to the Soul and Spirit is carnal, fleshly, and worldly; making it impossible to serve and please God spiritually.
  • The connection of the spirit and soul is in relationship only with the Father and the Son.

Spirit

  • When the Spirit of God speaks a response is required.
  • When God speaks to you to do He is talking to your Spirit with a command to your Soul to do and your Soul will comply to perform.
  • The Spirit of God does not speak to your flesh or your Body.
  • When the Spirit of the Holy Spirit consumes your spirit and began to govern your entire being your Body is considered as a consecrated Temple for His use, i.e. His transportation, His demonstrations and manifestations of His Will, etc.

1 Corinthians 6:19-20

19 What? Know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own?

20 For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God’s.

  • Though we cannot repay God for His Son’s suffering and sacrifice for all mankind, but we can surrender all to Him and give Him Divine ownership over our whole being.
  • When God acknowledges or affirms His is acknowledging or affirming to your Soul.
  • The Spirit speaks, Soul hears, and Body performs the actions of the Spirit and the Souls obedience.
  • When God speaks He speaks in control of your whole being, not part of you.
  • When the Spirit of the Lord is in charge you will operate and function in the Spirit that is leading and guiding you; you will walk after the Spirit and not before Him and trying to make Him subject to what you are saying and doing.
  • The Spirit of God must penetrate your spirit like a virgin to fill you with His Holy Spirit and He will govern you according to His Will, not yours.
  • When this penetration of your spirit occurs you will surrender all and will obey the voice, instructions and guidance of the Word of God written and spoken.
  • This cannot and will not be done from the flesh realm!

Soul

  • When God speaks to your spirit, the Holy Spirit speaks to your soul; soul hears the Spirit of God to obey His voice to perform His Will, not try but to do; then the body will comply.
  • When the Spirit of God is in control of you your soul is no longer in bondage. You are a new creature, a new man.

2 Corinthians 5:17 Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.

  • Remember “in” means inner, within, internal.
  • As a new man you also receive the spirit of reconciliation, which is the ability to tell of your faith in order to restore relations to another in Christ Jesus.
  • Your soul’s total dependence is upon the Father, not the body and its senses.
  • Your soul is neutral! It is not helping or supporting either side (body or spirit) in conflict or disagreement.
  • Your soul waits on the one (God or Satan) that will be dominating in the agreement made by your Will and its consequences.
  • Your soul has an enemy! 1 Peter 5:8 Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour:
  • God is making you (soul) into the new creature that He has called into Himself.
  • Your soul must be spiritually attracted (St John 6:44); converted (St Luke 22:32) to transform you into a Son.

Body

  • When your flesh is alive through the knowledge of good and evil and in control Satan influences through the habit and practices of the flesh’s 5-sense nature.
  • Satan influence appears to be like God speaking to you physically, emotionally, and spiritually.
  • Influence is the capacity to have an effect on the character, development, or behavior of someone or something, or the effect itself.
  • Satan and his demons influence your soul to various degrees of bondage and captivity due to temporal possessions, personal and generational sins.
  • Jesus Christ came to destroy his works against the soul of men by the Spirit of the Lord anointing Him to preach the Gospel to the poor; to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, to recover the sight of the blind (that is spiritually and naturally) and to set at liberty them that are bruised. St Luke 4:18
  • Whatever category you are in Christ Jesus has already condemned your sin in your flesh.
  • The influence of your flesh is Satan’s destiny for you to reject the total Will of God and go to Hell with him.
  • The knowledge of good and evil without the Spirit of God in control of it will cause you to gather knowledge, study to know this and that, but in all your getting you will need understanding; but it is Wisdom that will apply knowledge and understand knowledge.
  • Many have a great knowledge of knowing but cannot apply it without submission and commitment to the Spirit of God and His use of righteousness for/with it.
  • I like to always say “to know is to become what you know”.
  • You say “I know that!” But have you become what you really know?
  • Faith without works is dead!
  • Your deeds and actions are a byproduct of your faith being alive and active in you.

James 2:26 For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also.

  • Your knowledge must have faith!
  • Your understanding must be the proof of your knowledge in works.
  • Your flesh suffers and dies daily when you walk after the Spirit.

Amen
