What is Salvation?

Salvation is a precious and free gift from God. It is not earned by works, but is given by grace to those who ask God for it. Salvation results in the forgiveness of ALL your sins and causes God to remember your sins no more. “For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved”. (Romans 10:13).

What does it mean to be Born-again?

Being Born Again or “Saved” means that you have accepted Christ as your Lord and Savior. Just as physical life begins at natural birth, spiritual life begins by giving birth to the spirit within you through the Word of God. Christ died to save us, not in our sins, but from our sins; “as we were yet sinners when he died for us.” (Romans 5:10-12). Nevertheless, you can be spiritually “Born again” and have a new life with a commitment to serve Jesus Christ. God will recreate within you new life!

Once I am “Saved”, am I perfect?

No you are not sinless perfect. You are forgiven of your past (Romans 3:23-24). St Matthew 5:48 says be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect”. Perfect in the Lord implies that we are fully developed with growth into the maturity of godliness. JUST A THOUGHT HERE IF YOU ARE GOING TOUSE THAT WORD PERFECT.

How do I become born again?

The Word is near to you, it is in your mouth and in your heart! (Romans 10:8). When you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe that God has raised Him (Jesus) from the dead, you pass from spiritual death into spiritual life. “That if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus, and believe in your heart that God has raised him from the dead, you shall be saved” (Romans 10:9).

What must I do to be saved?

First, you must Confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and Believe in your heart that God hath raised him (Jesus) from the dead, thou shalt be saved (Romans 10:9). Second, you must Repent “repent and be converted that your sins will be blotted out” (Acts 3:19). Third, Pray earnestly and sincerely thanking the Lord God for forgiving you, coming into your life and making a change. Also pray and ask the Lord to send you to a House of Prayer in which your soul will be nurtured and fed The Word of God, in that you make grow in Him according to His Will and His Word. Jesus is waiting to receive you for you to ask Him to come into your heart right now by saying this prayer (aloud): ________________________________________

Dear God in Heaven, I come to you in the name of Jesus. Your Word said, “the sacrifices of God are a broken spirit: a broken and a contrite heart, O God thou wilt not despise” (Ps 51:17). I believe that you will not cast me out, but will take me in and I thank you for it. You also said, That if I CONFESS with my mouth the Lord Jesus, and shall BELIEVE in my heart that God has raised Him (Jesus) from the dead, I shall be SAVED. I believe that I am saved. Therefore, according to Your Word I believe in my heart with my confession that Jesus Christ is the Son of God. I believe that He (Jesus) was raised from the dead and now I am justified by His Blood. Lord, I confess you now as my Lord and Savior. I have now become the righteousness of God in Christ and I thank You for saving me in Jesus’ name. AMEN. WELCOME! Welcome to the Family of God! Your next step is to pray for the Lord to find a Bible believing, Bible teaching church and start to attend regularly. You must also read the Bible so that you can grow in your love for God and the knowledge of His ways.

(2) And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what {is} that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.
