Imitation of Life

This outward appearance is not a reflection of Kingdom Life and Lifestyle. What appears is not what really is. Apostle Tracey Robinson 2021 All Rights Reserved

  • Imitation is the action of using someone or something as a model; an act of imitating a person’s speech or mannerisms; a thing intended to simulate or copy something else.
  • We are living in a time now where the Kingdom of God is being made a mockery.

Galatians 6:7-8

7 Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.

8 For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting.

  • Don’t allow what you see and how the believers are acting and pretending to love the Spirit of God and keep all His Commandments deceive, delude, and mislead you in believing that this behavior is spiritual and is acceptable to God.
  • Jesus said in St John 14:15-16 if you love Me you will keep My Commandments. And He will pray to the Father, and the Father will give you another Comforter that may abide with you forever.
  • The Comforter is the Holy Ghost! He will lead, guide, instruct, and bring all things back to your remembrance what the Lord God has told you.
  • Loving God and His Way is the key to being filled with the HOLY GHOST.
  • God will not allow Himself to be sneered at, scorned, disdained by mere pretensions or professions, or by His precepts being set aside.

  • Mockery means an absurd misrepresentation or imitation of something; make something seem foolish or absurd.
  • Mock is to tease someone or make someone the object of scorn, or to mimic or imitate someone to get laughs or to insult the person.
  • For example, tradition and religion tries to point out a new way, a better way to serve the Spirit of God instead of the way God has written His forever settled Word.
  • Whereas tradition and religion says that the Word of God and His Spirit is not enough or equipped to heal and deliver a person(s) with abuse, mental illnesses, or mental disorders. God gave us doctors to heal us; professionals to treat our mental illnesses and disorders.
  • The Word of God says in James 5:13-16

13 Is any among you afflicted? (Ill-treated, suffering evil) Let him pray. Is any merry? Let him sing psalms,

14 Is any sick (affected by physical or mental illnesses) among you? Let him call for the elders of the church; and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord:

15 And the prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up; and if he hath committed sins, they shall be forgiven him.

16 Confess (admit or state that you have committed a crime or act, or is at fault in some way) your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed (and restored to a spiritual tone of mind and heart). The effectual (fruitful, effective, successful in producing a desired or intended result) fervent (passionate intensity) prayer of a righteous man availeth much.

  • We must fight the good fight of faith! We must learn to fight the good fight of faith!
  • STOP warring in warfare with NO VICTORY!
  • To fight the good fight of faith means to maintain a godly character even in and under your forbidding and hostile situations and circumstances.
  • We must learn to reject error and to pursue righteousness, godliness, faith, love, perseverance, and gentleness.
  • To fight the good fight of faith means to abide in the faith of Christ the vine and the Word that nourishes the branch regardless of how you feel, think, or understand, St John 15:4-5.

1 Timothy 6:11-12 is a warning to ministers, leaders, called out ones

11 But thou, O man of God, flee these things; and follow after righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, meekness.

12 Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, whereunto thou are also called and hast professed a good profession before many witnesses.

  • God does not see as man sees. He looks at the heart!
  • Man looks at the outward appearance as an outward righteousness and inward there is still corruption.
  • The doctrine of tradition and religion is not good and is full of evil examples of life and lifestyle in Christ and Kingdom living.

1 Samuel 16:7 Samuel was sent to Bethlehem by God to search for David to anoint him as king.

7 But the Lord said unto Samuel, Look not on his countenance, or on the height of his stature; because I have refused him: for the Lord seeth not as man seeth; for man looketh on the outward appearance, but the Lord looketh on the heart.

St Matthew 23:27 Jesus spoke contrasting outward righteousness and inward corruption by using the beauty of a whited sepulcher outside, but within it is full of dead men bones and dead history. 27 Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For ye are like unto whited sepulchers, which indeed appear beautiful outward, but are within full of dead men’s bones, and of all uncleanness.

  • When everyone is saying the same thing that everyone else is saying that can only be substantiated by feelings, guts, intuition, education, likes and dislikes; rehearsed talk, watching others, imitating others, gossip, hearsay, having a form of godliness, with a familiar spirit, etc. is just common talk.
  • Our outward appearance is deceiving many.
  • The Word of God teaches us in Spirit and in Truth according to the Word how to dress, how to conduct ourselves in behavior, communication, and in mannerism.
  • The flesh has and is fooling many believers that say they are in Christ.
  • Our outward appearance is not evidence or proof of a life and lifestyle of citizenship in the Kingdom of God when all it does is “highlight” you.
  • Common talk and its mannerism is an imitation and is not spiritual, neither does it exemplify righteousness, sanctification, and holiness.
  • Imitations of life began in the Garden with Adam and Evil when the serpent beguiled and seduced Eve with his spirit against God, because he wanted to be God and be worshipped.
  • Satan even today distracts us from the “true fight” and has us fighting other fights, such as “I’m greater than you, I’m more anointed than you”, “and I’m certified to do better than you because I have a degree in theology and in the divinity of man”.
  • I have my degree, a letter where the knowledge I have has puffed up and has no love.

2 Corinthians 3:5-6

5 Not that we are sufficient of ourselves to think anything as of ourselves; but our sufficiency is of God;

6 Who also hath made us able ministers of the New Testament; not of the letter, but of the spirit; for the letter killeth, but the spirit giveth life.

  • Believers are known to start and stop what they say God told them but never completing it if no one is showing any interest in what I say God has told me to do.
  • Believers are divided against one another leaving us to compete with one another, fight at one another as to who is right and who is wrong; bickering and arguing, backbiting at each other instead of doing what God has really told them to do.
  • What part God gave you, He also gave the other part to another and another part to another, to make a whole.
  • But because we are self-centered and don’t have wisdom and spiritual discernment as required we tend to think that everyone or someone is after your anointing.
  • Satan whips the believer into being shallow, compromising, and deceitful because their faith is in fate.
  • Fate is the development of events beyond a person’s control, regarded as determined by a supernatural power.

Proverbs 19:21 Many plans are in a man’s mind, but it is the Lord’s purpose for him that will stand.

  • Faith is a substance! Substance is a particular kind of matter with uniform (remaining the same in all cases and at all times; unchanging in form or character) properties.
  • Christ Jesus the very image of God’s substance; having the real nature of God made manifest in contrast to the outward manifestation of the imitations of man’s demonstration of a Kingdom life and lifestyle in Christ.
  • Jesus the Christ speaks of the Divine essence of God’s existence and expression in the revelation of His Son.
  • God through His Son Jesus becomes to us that giving substance that confirms the things we hope for, being the proof of things we do not see and the conviction of the reality perceived as the real facts of what is not and cannot be revealed to our senses.
  • This imitation of life won’t lead you to God and His Kingdom but it will lead you to the enemy of God.
  • This imitation of life will keep you in a “trance” believing that you are in the Will of God, His Kingdom, and are living the life required for a Kingdom citizen from an outward appearance.
  • STOP letting your good be evil spoken of because of your communications and the people that you dwell with.
  • The Kingdom of God is as God is Spirit!

Romans 14:17-18

17 For the Kingdom of God is not meat and drink; but righteousness, and peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost.

18 For he that is these things serveth Christ is acceptable to God, and approved of men.

  • The real Kingdom of God is not a matter of you getting the food and drink that you like but is set according to the Will of the King.
  • If and when we serve Christ in this way it is acceptable and pleasing to God and is approved by men (God gives you favor with man), not vice versa approved by men and pushed off on God for Him to take it whether He approves, accepts, and is pleased with it or not.
  • We are so traumatized and emotionalized by our feelings then we are to just believe, trust, hope, and have confidence in the Spirit of the Word of God.
  • Feelings do not operate in the realm of faith.
